Hi.

I woke up one day and realized that I was 42 years old and overweight. My doctor told me that sooner, rather than later, my heart will give up on me. That was one big wake-up call.

I tell friends that I wanted to lose weight so I could bring my wife to the beach. But that’s not really my reason. I just got tired being fat, being the big man, being the one who ate all the leftovers. Mainly, feeling lousy and tired all the time.

I used to love it when we ordered Chinese takeout because my wife always ordered a lot. And in the middle of the night, I’ll sneak downstairs and eat all the leftovers. I got so used to eating General Tso’s chicken cold, that I developed a craving for it. Why cold? Because I didn’t want to alert anybody with the microwave!

So what’s different now? Well, I’ve tried almost all diets, but haven’t been focused as I am right now. Because I have a diet blog and a weight loss diary, I can easily keep track of what I’m eating. And this is working for me.

So, here on my blog, you’ll see similar diet success stories like mine and hope you get inspired to start your own weight loss diary.
